Custom Jewelry Design

At Hal Davis Jewelers, we feel that fine jewelry is a reflection of your taste and style. As a complement to the designer lines we carry, we offer custom jewelry design services to our customers who have a vision for a piece of jewelry. Whether you have a clear design in mind or a general direction, our professional goldsmith can bring your ideas to life. We can incorporate your existing gemstones, or supply all of the stones – matched perfectly to your specifications.

The process begins with a consultation with one of our professionals. Once we understand your desires and expectations – exploring details and features – we will present a CAD (Computer Animated Design) rendering of your piece for review. All design edits and changes are done free of charge until the design is perfect. Your one-of-a-kind treasure takes approximately 2-3 weeks to create once you give us permission to begin.

Professional Appraisal

An appraisal is a document stating the approximate retail replacement value of an item. It is calculated using current market data, which reflects typical retail prices, in addition to the cut, color, clarity, and carat weight of the gemstone(s), the weight of precious metal included in the item, and the craftsmanship of the item.

Your appraisal ensures that in the case of loss, theft, or damage your insurance company will give you an equal replacement of your item. The more information contained in the appraisal, the better chance you have of receiving the exact replacement for that item. Your insurance agency can rely on this appraisal to calculate a coverage rate for your diamond or piece of fine jewelry.
